The Indianapolis 500 is the largest single sporting spectacle on earth, with more than 300,000 paying spectators packing into the grandstands an infield of the old Indiana speedway – so what better place to get a driver's perspective on race weekend?

We gave Justin Wilson, driver of the #22 Dreyer & Reinbold entry one of our Kodak Zi8 pocket video cameras to play with and record his moments during the biggest motorsport event on earth. It turned out to be an eventful weekend! The Brit scored his best ever speedway finish and even led the race, while his team-mate Mike Conway was injured in a crash on the last lap.

Follow Justin's story from Carburation Day on Friday, through the driver's parade in downtown Indianapolis and on in to race day itself...
