In MotoGP's 2019 rookie class, there is an odd man out. It's not the Moto2 points leader or his nearest rival, neither is it the current Moto3 champion.

In a new crop of riders including Ducati-contracted future Pramac rider Pecco Bagnaia, Tech3 KTM recruit Miguel Oliveira, Suzuki's latest Spanish prodigy Joan Mir, it's Fabio Quartararo who stands out.
